Head of Commercial – Warner Music Poland

 

Here you’ll get to:

 

  • Take ownership of the management of sales functions of the business and help establish the overall strategic direction of sales
  • Execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the business; monitor / report on progress
  • Develop business through:
    • Searching for new customers, revenue sources, distribution channels, forms of cooperation
    • Creating business models of cooperation
    • Negotiating contracts with new clients
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business by leading the sales process- from prospecting through onboarding to successful closure of sales projects
  • Negotiate agreements for contracts with customers to ensure a commercial outcome
  • Actively search for customers interested in premium products
  • Manage accounts such as state-owned companies, museums, cultural centres, etc.
  • Manage alternative methods of physical sales - e.g. Pop Up Stores, live events etc
  • Conduct profitability analysis in cooperation with R&A
  • Ensure the implementation of the budget and KPIs
  • Propose ideas for non-standard promotional activities in cooperation with marketing
  • Develop merchandising: maximising revenues, profitability control, distribution channels, events, production coordination
  • Create D2C model for WMP
  • Implement CRM in WMP activities in conjunction with D2C
  • Act as effective liaison with internal departments (Marketing, Finance, etc.) to maximize sales opportunities and to keep up to date with the existing and new projects
  • Motivate the team; manage and develop sales team’s competencies
  • Ensure that relevant skills and capacity are put in place to successfully execute on defined business plans

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • University graduate in business, sales or marketing (or equivalent work experience)
  • English – fluent in writing and speaking
  • Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
  • Experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment
  • A track-record of success at previous sales jobs is required
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
  • A high level of professionalism with excellent relationship building skills
  • A strategic thinker able to capture business vision and translate it into measurable goals and targets
  • An analytical thinker who can draw conclusions from data
  • An ability to work independently but also be a strong team player
  • Margin and result-oriented
  • Experience in managing people

It would be music to our ears if you also had:

  • A background in music, entertainment media or software industry
  • An MBA
